You can enable or disable suggested tips, and you can also define the percentage value of up to three suggested tips.
Step 1. To return to the home screen, press Clear (red button).
Step 2. Press .;#* (punctuation key).
Step 3. Type the admin password, then press Enter (green button). The default password is 1234567F.
Step 4. Press 3 (Setup Menu), then press 5 (Trans Options).
Step 5. Press 5 (Tip Options), then press 6 (Tip Guide).
Step 6. Edit the suggested tip options:
- To turn off the suggested tip:
a. Press 1 (Tip Guide).
b. Select your suggested tip option:
- To turn off the suggested tip, press 1 (Off).
- To display the suggested tip, press 2 (Display).
- To print the suggested tip, press 3 (Print).
- To display and print the suggested tip, press 4 (Both).
- To set the the first suggested tip percentage:
a. Press 2 (TipGuide1).
b. Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).
- To set the the second suggested tip percentage:
a. Press 3 (TipGuide2).
b. Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).
- To set the the third suggested tip percentage:
a. Press 4 (TipGuide3).
b. Using the keypad, type the suggested tip percentage, then press Enter (green button).
